Breakneck Gorge is an ideal retreat for couples. It has soaring ceilings with “warehouse style” open plan living, dining and a mezzanine floor sleeping space. There is a purpose built private spa room featuring a bifold opening glass wall and a double European bath with 18 multijet hydrotherapy massage and aromatherapy system as well as a separate bathroom with shower, toilet and additional indoor single spa bath with views. For longer stays the retreat has a fully equipped laundry with washing machine, dryer, sink, iron and ironing board.
Regardless of the weather your comfort is guaranteed with a split system heating and cooling unit, electric panel heating in the bathroom, a standing fan in the dining area and a glass fronted European combustion wood fire in the living area.
As you may never want to leave the property you can either cook in the fully equipped kitchen that includes an oven, hotplates, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, electric jug, coffee plunger or on the gas BBQ outside and eat al fresco on the spa deck.
For your entertainment there is a CD player with a selection of music, a TV and DVD player with DVD’s as well as cards, games and magazines.
The retreat experience includes a welcome platter comprising cheese, dips and biscuits on arrival and a rejuvenating package of local soaps and bath products for your time in the spa. Also provided is a breakfast hamper full of provisions for the first morning including milk, bread, butter, cereal, fresh fruit juice, jams, fruit, yoghurt, ground coffee, instant coffee, hot chocolate, herbal teas, soft drinks, sugar and freshly laid eggs from the chook shed. Fresh linen and soft towels go without saying.
